Daredevil: Born Again season 3 will reportedly be the show's final season

Daredevil: Born Again season 3 will reportedly be the show's last, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Marvel has quietly parted ways with showrunner Dario Scardapane, whose contract was not renewed after the completion of season 3 production.

Scardapane, who served as showrunner for all three seasons, shared a post on Instagram following the end of production: "Sorry it took so long to say, but THAT'S A WRAP on production for Season 3 of Daredevil Born Again. Thank you to Marvel and the magnificent cast and crew that made this season something very, very, very special. I'm humbled daily by the talent I get to work with. Cannot wait for you to see what all these twisted minds have come up with."

Season 3 is in final post-production stages with a new showrunner overseeing the remaining work. The season is scheduled to premiere in March 2027 and will reportedly feature a long-awaited MCU Defenders team-up, bringing together Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Matt Murdock's storyline as he faces imprisonment.

The reported conclusion of Born Again comes after Wonder Man season 2 was cancelled despite being previously renewed. Beyond Born Again season 3, no other live-action Marvel shows are currently scheduled for Disney Plus, with VisionQuest remaining on the slate.
