Danganronpa 2x2 Reveals New Slayhem Mode Character Sakutaro Higashi
Spike Chunsoft has introduced Sakutaro Higashi, a new character for Danganronpa 2x2 who will appear in the Slayhem Mode scenario and be voiced by Natsuki Hanae and Griffin Burns.
Spike Chunsoft has revealed a new character joining the roster of Danganronpa 2x2. The upcoming high-speed deductive action game will feature a new scenario called Slayhem Mode, where players encounter a high school student named Sakutaro Higashi.
Higashi holds the mysterious title of Ultimate ???, keeping his actual talent hidden until players progress through the game. Publisher Spike Chunsoft announced that the character will be voiced in Japanese by Natsuki Hanae and in English by Griffin Burns.
Both voice actors shared remarks regarding their involvement. Griffin Burns stated he is thrilled to make his debut in the title. Natsuki Hanae noted that this marks his first time participating in the Danganronpa series, describing the recording sessions as a great experience while reading through the script and learning about the culprits and tricks.
Danganronpa 2x2 is scheduled to launch on January 14, 2027. The title will be released for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
