Developer Pokodzima Studio has released Bomb the Hill in early access on Meta Quest. The virtual reality skateboarding game combines adrenaline-fueled gameplay with a storyline inspired by real-life 1970s skateboarding culture. Funded initially by the Oculus Publishing Ignition program, the title provides players with a narrative campaign told across 15 chapters where the main character explores the hills and canyons of the Midwest United States.

Players can experience the game while either standing or sitting. Standing controls require players to position themselves sideways, swiping their arms to build speed, holding their arms out to brake, and leaning to steer. For players who prefer a seated position, the game automatically adjusts the controls upon loading an episode. The campaign features timed runs, races against CPU-controlled skaters, and speed runs across courses complete with branching paths, ramps, and obstacles.

Priced at $19.99, the Meta Quest early access version is available now. Pokodzima Studio has also confirmed that Bomb the Hill will launch for PC VR later this year in Q4 2026.
