Alliance was recently eliminated from the FISSURE Playground 3 tournament after a one-sided quarter-final series against MIBR. The South American squad took the match in two maps, leaving the Swedish team overwhelmed on the arena stage in Suzhou. Reflecting on the loss, new team addition Jonatan "bobeksde" Persson stated that they lacked initiative and did not feel ready to play against a more experienced opponent.

Despite the quarter-final exit, the tournament yielded positive results for Alliance regarding the race to the Singapore Major. The team successfully advanced out of the group stage following victories over FaZe, TYLOO, and magic. These wins earned the squad valuable VRS points, placing them 15th in the rankings and boosting predictions for their Major qualification bid. Persson noted that while the primary goal remains reaching the Major, the overall event experience was beneficial.

Alliance utilizes an unusual setup behind the players during matches, featuring a performance coach or general manager rather than solely relying on their strategic coach. Persson explained that Hawk handles analytical work behind the scenes, while Pontus focuses on calming the players down during matches and keeping them focused on the present moment. With several smaller LAN events ahead, Persson expressed confidence that the team has come far through their recent experience in China and holds a strong chance of winning upcoming competitions.
