Blades and Battles Gets Nintendo Switch Release Date and New Trailer

Publisher QUByte Interactive has officially announced a release date and a new trailer for its upcoming fantasy action title, Blades and Battles. The game is scheduled to launch for the Nintendo Switch on September 29.

Set in a fantasy world inspired by the legends of King Arthur, Blades and Battles tasks players with rescuing the wizard Merlin from the clutches of the evil witch Morgana. The title is designed to evoke the golden age of classic beat 'em ups, combining the spirit of games like Golden Axe with modern 3D combat presented in a stylized 2.5D format.

Players can choose to play as either Arthur or Lancelot. Each playable character features unique abilities, distinct fighting styles, and devastating special attacks. The game also supports local co-op battles, allowing players to face hordes of enemies together while reliving the arcade era through a cinematic, action-packed presentation that aims to shape the fate of the Round Table.
