BC.Game signs asap, switches to Asia VRS region

BC.Game have announced the signing of Tyson "asap" Paterson from THUNDER dOWNUNDER to replace recently benched Denis "electroNic" Sharipov. The move carries significant competitive implications, as it will change BC.Game's regional affiliation in the VRS from Europe to Asia.

With asap joining Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold and Ayush "mzinho" Batbold, BC.Game will now field a majority-Asian core. The shift addresses the team's qualification prospects for PGL Major Singapore. Previously sitting in 36th place on the Europe VRS with low chances of making the top 18 teams invited to the Major, BC.Game's 1,191 points would currently position them fourth on the Asian VRS, from which five teams receive invites.

asap brings international experience to the roster. He recorded his first HLTV officials in 2019 and earned international exposure playing for Rooster in 2023, competing in multiple ESL Pro League and ESL Challenger events and the play-in stage of IEM Katowice 2024. Most recently, asap qualified for his first Major at IEM Cologne Major with THUNDER dOWNUNDER, posting a 1.24 rating in Stage 1 and a 2.04 rating in a BO1 victory over MIBR, though his team did not advance further.
