Avengers: Endgame Encore footage reveals setup for Avengers: Doomsday

Avengers: Endgame Encore is releasing this week, and footage from early Korean screenings has revealed how the re-release sets up Avengers: Doomsday through new in-film additions and post-credits scenes.

One new moment adds a scene between Peggy and Steve Rogers after their dance in the original film. TVA-era Loki knocks on their door, and when Peggy asks if he can help, Loki replies, "No, but I can help you, both of you." The exact timeline placement remains unclear.

The post-credits sequences establish major connections to the upcoming film. The first scene shows Bruce Banner imprisoned two miles underground in a military complex following the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. A guard states, "The Hulk is not getting out of here, and no one else is getting in," before Doctor Doom's voice interrupts, saying, "Mr Banner, I'm here to collect you."

A TVA scene follows, featuring Miss Minutes and appearing to take place after Loki season 2. Mobius and Ouroboros monitor incursions across universes, identifying Earth-10005 (the Fox X-Men universe) and Earth-1127 approaching collision before revealing 3,000 universes are experiencing incursions.

The final tease shows Tony Stark forging his Iron Man mask in the original Iron Man film, before he begins crafting a Doctor Doom mask instead. The film ends on Doom's face, potentially suggesting a connection between the characters.

Avengers: Endgame Encore releases on September 25.
