Pawprint Studio Details Aniimo Shop, Passes, And Currency Ahead Of Launch

Ahead of its launch in the Americas, a recent press preview of Pawprint Studio's creature-collecting RPG Aniimo has revealed details regarding its in-game shop, battle pass, and monetization systems.

Pawprint Studio's creature-collecting open-world RPG, Aniimo, is officially launching in the Americas. Ahead of the release, a recent press preview of the game has provided a closer look at its monetization features, including the in-game shop, a monthly pass, and a battle pass that features a purchasable upgrade.

According to the preview, Aniimo utilizes a premium currency known as Lumin Crystals rather than a gacha system. Lumin Crystals are available for purchase at various rates, ranging from a small bundle of 60 crystals for $1 up to a large bundle of 6,580 crystals for $100. First-time purchases include bonuses that double the number of crystals received.

Players can spend Lumin Crystals on various packs containing Glimmer, which is a currency used to purchase items from vendors, cubes used for capturing Aniimo, and materials needed for leveling up. Crystals can also be used to purchase character outfits directly. The shop currently features four outfits, with three priced between 980 and 1280 crystals. The fourth outfit is unlocked by making any purchase in the shop and then logging into the game for three consecutive days.

In combat and exploration, players build teams of four Aniimo, each tied to one of nine elements and five combat roles. Players can also utilize a Twining mechanic to transform directly into the Aniimo in their care, or remain in human form to use mobility and healing abilities from an ability tree. Aniimo launches in the Americas with servers scheduled to go live at 7:00 PM Pacific and 10:00 PM Eastern.
