Fans of the creature-capture genre eagerly awaiting the global release of Aniimo will be able to jump into the game without any upfront purchase. Developer Pawprint Studio is launching the title globally this month across a wide multitude of platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Mobile.

As a free-to-play experience, the core base game of Aniimo does not require any mandatory purchase. Although early playtests featured Gacha mechanics, developer feedback adjustments resulted in the complete removal of Gacha content. All content that was previously restricted by that approach is now entirely accessible through standard exploration and progression.

While the base experience is free, the game includes optional in-game microtransactions designed to offer extra content, speed up player progression, and provide additional customization options. Furthermore, players looking for extra gear at launch can choose from two optional pre-order bundles. The Advanced Edition is priced at $9.99, while the higher-tier Collector's Edition is available for $19.99. Neither package is required to enjoy the full game, as players can access the complete experience completely free of charge.
