Among Us 19.0.0 adds Influencer ghost role that sends images to living crewmates

Among Us has released version 19.0.0, introducing the Influencer as a new Ghost Crewmate role. When players die and become ghosts, they can now take on this role alongside the existing Guardian Angel.

The Influencer can send up to three random images to living Crewmates to help identify Impostors or clear suspicions. However, the images selected may be misinterpreted, potentially leading to the wrong player being ejected during meetings. Refreshes are limited, adding strategy to the role's use.

According to the patch notes, Influencers should continue completing their tasks as ghosts. The role's cooldown can be adjusted through the Settings menu in the Dropship. Innersloth notes that combining the Influencer with a Judge role may create interesting tactical scenarios.

The 19.0.0 update also includes several tweaks beyond the new role, though specific details on these adjustments were not provided. Among Us remains available on Nintendo Switch along with other platforms. Players can share feedback about the new role on social media.
