SteelSeries launches Sensei Pro and Rival Pro gaming mice for 25th anniversary
SteelSeries has released new versions of its Sensei Pro and Rival Pro gaming mice featuring 8,000Hz polling rates and Ultra-Wideband wireless connectivity. Both models are available now at $179.99 USD.

SteelSeries has launched new Sensei Pro and Rival Pro gaming mice to mark its 25th anniversary. The mice are now available for order on SteelSeries' website, with retail availability at partnered retailers beginning October 13.
The Sensei Pro features a symmetrical grip for ambidextrous use, while the Rival Pro is ergonomically designed for right-handed players. Both models come in standard and mini sizes, available in white and black finishes. All versions are priced at $179.99 USD.
The new mice emphasize wireless connectivity and low latency. Both use Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wireless on a 6.4GHz-9.056GHz spectrum, which SteelSeries says avoids the congestion of the 2.4GHz band used by most wireless devices. This approach enables the mice's up-to-8,000Hz polling rate to perform effectively. SteelSeries claims the cleaner transmission from UWB connectivity allows the polling rate to reach its full potential for responsive tracking and reduced input lag.
