STAN Records 15x Growth in StanShop Monthly Buyers With Repeat Purchases Reaching 70 Percent
Mobile-first social games network STAN has reported significant growth on its StanShop platform, driven by repeat customers and strong engagement in tier-two and tier-three cities.

Mobile-first social games network STAN has recorded 15 times growth in monthly buyers on its StanShop gaming commerce platform over the past six months. According to the company, repeat customers now account for 70 percent of purchases, with Gen Z and users from tier-two cities serving as key contributors to the expansion.
StanShop provides digital products that include gaming gift cards, game credits, vouchers, and top-ups. The 70 percent repeat purchase rate indicates that the majority of transactions stem from existing members of the network's gaming community instead of one-time shoppers. The company noted that users frequently return to buy items associated with the games and digital experiences they already utilize.
Data released by the company shows that markets in tier-two and tier-three cities account for approximately 67 percent of the total user base and nearly 72 percent of monetised engagement. Furthermore, users from these areas record 17 percent to 18 percent higher average revenue per user than those located in tier-one cities. Overall, STAN maintains more than 50 million users across communities, creators, and gaming.
STAN CEO and co-founder Parth Chadha commented on the metrics. "The most interesting part for us is not just the growth in buyers, but that people are coming back to buy again," Chadha said. "StanShop is about making the products they already use as gamers available within that experience. The 15X growth and 70% repeat purchases give us early evidence that commerce can grow naturally from community."
