Roblox Launches Arabic Social Channels With Roblox Arabia

Roblox has officially launched Roblox Arabia, a new set of Arabic-language social media channels aimed at bringing the platform closer to its community across the Arab world. Mohamed El Sheakh, the company's general manager for MENA and Türkiye, shared the news on LinkedIn, stating that the channels will provide Arabic content, news, and updates while showcasing regional creators, experiences, and communities.

According to the company, the initiative marks an important step toward building a stronger local presence, developing a deeper regional understanding, and creating a community closer to Roblox. This launch coincides with Roblox's broader expansion across the MENA region. Earlier, in May, Roblox signed a memorandum of understanding with Savvy Games Group to help grow Saudi Arabia’s game development ecosystem. Additionally, the company announced plans to open its regional headquarters in Riyadh to support local gaming ambitions and creator ecosystems.

Simultaneously, Roblox has been developing its Arabic moderation capabilities. The company previously noted that chat would stay disabled across much of the Middle East until its Arabic-language moderation matures. The newly introduced Roblox Arabia channels will now serve as an additional communication avenue for Arabic-speaking players and creators throughout the region.
