Capcom's first aid kit popcorn bucket, released as a tie-in for the Resident Evil movie, has proven surprisingly practical beyond its original snack-holding purpose.

Instagram user pokicourtney discovered that the green collectible bag can store physical copies of Resident Evil games. The bucket holds 13 games total, spanning Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and deluxe steelbook editions. The collection ranges from the Resident Evil Origins Collection through Resident Evil Village.

The fit is compact enough that organizing the games inside resembles the inventory grid system familiar to Resident Evil players. What began as a novelty item for the film's theatrical release has become a functional container for physical media.

The Resident Evil movie itself exceeded expectations at the box office, earning more than $108 million. In MaxGG News's review, critic Eric Frederiksen praised the film, stating: "Zach Cregger sheds the camp and artifice to give us a truly exciting, tense, and disgusting Resident Evil movie."
