Reform UK Launches 'Small Boat Watch' Mobile App with Interactive Game
The UK political party Reform UK has released a mobile application featuring a game where players repel small boats from British shores.

The UK political party Reform UK has launched a new mobile application on iOS and Android called Small Boat Watch, which features an built-in game tasking players with stopping immigrant boats. The game, titled Small Boat Scramble, is accessible only after a user signs up with their email address, closes the application, and reopens it to reveal a hidden "Play" tab.
In Small Boat Scramble, players bounce small vessels back across the screen to prevent them from reaching British shores. As gameplay progresses, players encounter a larger "Boris wave" of boats. This is a reference to the political party's criticisms regarding the rise in immigrant arrivals during former Prime Minister Boris Johnson's tenure. At the time of reporting, the game's internal leaderboard recorded 6,524 players.
Though the application itself does not mention any rewards, reports across the British press indicate there is a £5,000 prize for the player who secures the highest score. Observers note that both the application and the game feature a basic user interface, suggesting they may have been developed using Claude or similar generative artificial intelligence tools. This release follows a broader trend of politically themed games, similar to the MAGA-style web games recently published by the Trump campaign.
