PG Connects opens networking sessions with publishers and investors across global events
PocketGamer's PG Connects events are launching curated speed-dating style meetings between developers, publishers, and investors. Sessions begin this month in Helsinki and expand to London, Barcelona, and other cities throughout 2025.

PocketGamer is rolling out structured networking sessions at its PG Connects events to help game developers connect with publishers and investors actively seeking new projects.
The Publisher SpeedMatch program pairs developers with publishers in rapid-fire meetings designed for initial contact rather than deal closure. Developers and publishers are pre-screened and matched for sessions lasting long enough to assess fit but short enough to enable multiple conversations within a single event. The format is open to all qualifying attendees at no additional cost, though applicants go through a filtering process.
Publisher SpeedMatch kicks off in Helsinki this month, with additional sessions scheduled for London and Barcelona in 2025.
For developers seeking funding, Investor Connector pairs game makers with venture capitalists and investors in one-on-one meetings. Selected applicants meet in a dedicated quiet space during conferences with investors actively looking for opportunities in the sector. Investor Connector is also launching in Helsinki this month, followed by London and Barcelona next year.
PG Connects is also introducing Connector SpeedMatch at its one-day Summits, combining both publisher and investor meetings in a single condensed format. These sessions are scheduled for Jordan and Montréal in November, with San Francisco and Shanghai following in 2025.
PG Connects Nordics in Helsinki runs October 20-21. Early bird tickets start at €197, with mid-term pricing offering discounts up to €116 through October 1st.
