Publisher Xbox Game Studios, alongside developers Mojang and Double Eleven, has released the official gameplay trailer for Minecraft Dungeons II ahead of its launch next month. The title was originally announced earlier this year during Minecraft Live and is scheduled to arrive on September 29, 2026.
The newly unveiled trailer highlights the game's setting, noting that mysterious rifts are opening across the Overworld leading into a brand new dimension called the Sift. Players will be able to team up to journey into uncharted lands, face new threats, and explore fresh ways to customize their loadouts and playstyles.
Minecraft Dungeons II is slated to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC via both Steam and Xbox on PC. Fans who pre-order the game can receive exclusive in-game items, including the Twisted cape, the Twisted Chicken pet, and two distinct hero skins.
