Metroid Prime 4 Hard Mode Can Be Trivialized With an Amiibo Trick
A Metroid Prime 4 Samus amiibo provides a full health restore once per day, but players can bypass the daily limit by adjusting their system clock to make hard mode significantly easier.

Completing Metroid Prime 4 at 100 percent requires finishing the game on both normal and hard modes with every log book scan, item, and green energy crystal collected. While most of this work is time-consuming rather than challenging, hard mode itself presents a notable spike in difficulty.
However, players can substantially reduce hard mode's challenge using the Metroid Prime 4 Samus amiibo. The amiibo grants a full health restore once per day, but this limitation can be circumvented by changing the system clock on the Nintendo Switch, allowing unlimited uses.
One player who completed the game at 100 percent on normal mode reported using this trick only twice during hard mode, both times during the final boss's first phase. The player noted that hard mode significantly increases boss health pools, making certain encounters substantially longer than their normal mode counterparts.
The health restore specifically requires the Metroid Prime 4 Samus amiibo. Other Metroid amiibo figures do not provide this benefit, so players seeking to use this method must have the correct variant.
