Hot Toys joins Fortnite Global Championship 2026 as official sponsor
High-end collectibles manufacturer Hot Toys has been named the exclusive physical collectibles sponsor for the upcoming Fortnite Global Championship 2026.
High-end collectibles manufacturer Hot Toys has officially signed on as an official sponsor for the upcoming Fortnite Global Championship 2026. Announced by competitive entertainment company Blast, the agreement designates Hot Toys as the exclusive sponsor within the physical collectibles category for the upcoming tournament, which is scheduled to run from September 26 to September 27 at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium.
This year marks the first time the Fortnite Global Championship will be hosted in Antwerp, drawing players from around the world to compete for a $2 million prize pool. According to Blast commercial director James Brown, the partnership grants Hot Toys direct rights tied specifically to the championship event rather than a general brand association with the game. The arrangement encompasses broadcast integrations, physical in-arena branding, retail activations, and a dedicated digital content series titled "Legendary Drop" highlighting the company's product line.
As part of the multi-channel activations, Hot Toys will feature in daily broadcast segments on Twitch and Fortnite Competitive's digital channels, highlighting standout tournament plays paired with featured collectibles. The toy maker will additionally operate a dedicated physical stand inside the Antwerp arena, while select merchandise will be made available for purchase through both the official FNCS online store and physical event shops during the championship.
Franck Dubois, CEO of Hot Toys Japan, noted in the press release that he plays Fortnite daily and previously attended the FNCS Lyon Finals as a spectator. The partnership aligns with Blast's broader business strategy of expanding its sponsor roster with consumer brands to reach younger audiences. Blast reported financial growth following an industry-wide period of reduced corporate spending in esports, adding various brand and destination partners to its tournament ecosystem.
Further announcements detailing specific products and fan experiences are expected to be revealed closer to the event's commencement in September.
