Fortnite Fortnitemares Reveals Slenderman, Freddy Krueger, and Major Horror Collabs

Fortnite's annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares, is set to launch on October 1 with a slate of major horror and entertainment crossovers. Epic Games revealed the collabs through key art shared on social media, confirming several highly anticipated partnerships.

The artwork shows Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street in a prominent position, with Slenderman lurking behind him. The opposite side features a skin referencing The Purge. Japanese manga series Black Clover is also identifiable in the artwork, along with a gravestone referencing Beetlejuice, with Jonesy pictured hiding behind it.

Epic Games previously announced a crossover with Five Nights at Freddy's, which the company described as a collab Fortnite fans have been requesting for years. The Fortnitemares event will span a month before transitioning into the final season of Chapter 7 in November.

New items are being added to the loot pool, including Vampire Sprite and Pumpkin Sprite variants. Previous Fortnitemares collabs are expected to return to the Item Store during the event, with past crossovers such as Saw, Friday the 13th, and Poppy Playtime likely to reappear for purchase.

More collab reveals are anticipated in the days ahead as the event approaches.
