Fan-Made Xbox Disc-to-Digital List Tops 1400 Compatible Games, as Ubisoft Titles Added to the Programme
A fan-made compendium cataloguing Microsoft's new Xbox Disc-to-Digital programme has surpassed 1,400 compatible titles following the recent addition of Ubisoft games.

Microsoft's Disc-to-Digital programme recently kicked off for Xbox Insiders, prompting fans to begin cataloguing which games are compatible with the system. According to compendium trackers at xct.live, over 1,400 working games have now been listed, alongside nearly 300 unsupported titles. While notable no-shows include licensed games like the Forza series, most titles function properly—including hundreds of games previously delisted from online storefronts. Additionally, Windows Central recently reported that prominent Ubisoft games have started working within the system.
The Disc-to-Digital programme utilizes unique keys built into Xbox One and Xbox Series physical discs to convert them into digital entitlements. This mechanism allows players to access physical libraries on disc-free hardware such as the Xbox Series S, Xbox One S All-Digital console, and Xbox Ally handhelds. Furthermore, the feature is expected to be critical for supporting physical collections on upcoming hardware lacking disc drives, including the anticipated Project Helix family of devices.
The system also permits entitlement transfers to alternative accounts when a disc is inserted into a different Xbox console, thereby maintaining traditional game-lending and used-game sales options. While the feature is currently accessible to Xbox Insiders, community tracking efforts continue to monitor additions as the programme approaches a broader public release.
