Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections Teaser Shows Hedge-Trimming and Pie-Eating Gameplay
A new trailer for the upcoming VR/MR game reveals unusual interactive elements alongside action sequences, as developer Pixelity teases the first installment of a planned trilogy.

Pixelity has released a new teaser trailer for Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections, offering the first gameplay glimpse at the upcoming VR/MR title. The footage emerged following the game's preview event in San Francisco and showcases pre-release gameplay alongside some unconventional interactive moments.
The trailer reveals gameplay elements that extend beyond typical action sequences. Among the footage are scenes of interactive hedge-trimming and pie-eating, presented alongside battles between Evangelions and Angels. The juxtaposition underscores the game's approach to blending action with diverse interactive mechanics.
Evangelion: Δ Cross Reflections is designed as the first installment in a planned trilogy covering all 26 episodes of the original TV series. Players will experience the story through an original protagonist who dreams of becoming a pilot, with the narrative designed to connect key episodes from the anime. "Players will enjoy the story set in the locations from the anime from their own perspective. Battles between Evangelions and Angels, various interactive elements, and engaging captivating storylines with original characters are also planned," Pixelity stated in a press release.
The developer has scheduled the next preview event in Frankfurt, Germany, following previous hands-on showcases in Japan and San Francisco. Pixelity has not yet confirmed specific platforms or a precise release date beyond a 2027 window, listing only "various VR devices" in official documentation.
