Disney Dreamlight Valley Season of Scares update arrives September 23

Disney Dreamlight Valley is preparing for a Halloween-themed update with Season of Scares arriving September 23rd. The multiplayer life sim, known for its relaxed cozy gameplay, will embrace a darker aesthetic with this limited-time seasonal event.

The update marks a tonal shift for the otherwise cute and cheerful experience. The season appears to draw inspiration from Disney's spookier properties, bringing fiendish content to the valley.

Alongside the seasonal update announcement, publisher Gameloft has teased that an expansion is in development for Disney Dreamlight Valley, though specific details remain under wraps. The company has not yet revealed which Disney intellectual property or theme the expansion will feature.

Disney Dreamlight Valley blends life simulation elements with Disney character interactions and customization. The game supports multiplayer and has maintained regular seasonal updates since launch. Season of Scares represents the game's effort to diversify its content calendar beyond its signature cozy gameplay loop.
