BETBY Launches SlotBets Interface to Bring Casino-Style Slots Betting to Esports
Sportsbook supplier BETBY has announced the launch of SlotBets, a new interface that links live sports and esports events to casino-style slot game mechanics.

Sportsbook supplier BETBY has launched SlotBets, a new interface designed to turn esports and sports betting into a casino-style slot game experience. According to the company, the feature aims to bridge the gap between traditional sports betting and casino gaming, transforming watching sports into an interactive session rather than passive betting.
The mechanics behind SlotBets tie 15-second betting rounds directly to live sporting events. Each round is split into three five-second windows representing three reels, which highlight the highest-value event taking place within each window. After the 15 seconds elapse, the combination from the three reels uses matching outcomes to produce payouts based on a paytable, replacing the traditional random number generators typically used in online slots.
BETBY initially tested the feature with basketball games and plans to roll it out to other sports, with live esports and virtual games positioned near the top of the integration list. Kirill Nekrasov, Head of Innovation and R&D at BETBY, stated that the company aims to develop recognizable mechanics, terminology, and player expectations similar to categories like Crash Games.
The company will officially showcase SlotBets at the SBC Summit in Lisbon. While the interface has been tested with basketball, BETBY maintains a proprietary feed known as Betby.Games, which includes 25 virtual sports alongside major events. The supplier reports that over 500 clients are already on board. BETBY is licensed in Malta and provides products to gambling operators across Europe, Asia, and South America.
