Atelier Yumia Figure Reaches Painted Prototype Stage
Kotobukiya has shared a production update on its Atelier Yumia scale figure, now in the painted prototype phase. Pre-orders could arrive within months, with a full launch targeted for 2027.
Kotobukiya has advanced its Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land figure to the painted prototype stage. The scale figure depicts Yumia Liessfeldt in her Sun Shower variant, showing the character in a relaxed pose with parts of her costume removed and no weapon.
With the paint master now available, Kotobukiya suggests pre-orders could open within a few months, leading to a full release in 2027. The publisher shared a gallery documenting the figure's progression from initial concept art through unpainted prototypes to the current painted version.
Yumia merchandise has expanded recently. Good Smile Company released a Nendoroid of the character, while Koei Tecmo and Wonderful Works produced a KT Model+ figure that includes a Puni companion.
Yumia will return as a playable character in Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, the sequel launching February 25, 2027 on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The original Atelier Yumia is available on Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
