Asylum Horror Adventure Confirmed for Nintendo Switch on October 30, 2026

SOEDESCO and Senscape have confirmed the Nintendo Switch release date for Asylum, setting it for October 30, 2026. The first-person horror adventure was originally announced for the platform in July and had been targeted for a 2025 launch.

Asylum is a slow-burning horror adventure inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's novels, Hammer horror films, and European horror cinema of the 1980s. Players assume the role of a former patient haunted by unsettling visions as they explore a decaying mental institution, uncover its sinister past, and piece together a haunting mystery.

The game offers approximately ten hours of gameplay centered on immersive exploration, environmental storytelling, and puzzles. Rather than relying on constant jump scares, Asylum builds tension through its oppressive setting, a memorable soundtrack, and a narrative developed over 15 years. The developers have released a new trailer alongside the release date announcement.
