Acute Immersive is enabling content creators to build custom visionOS applications for distributing immersive video to Apple Vision Pro users. The platform provides white-label app creation alongside publishing, monetization, and analytics tools, allowing studios to maintain full control over user experience and pricing.

Since launching last year, Acute Immersive has supported releases including Primary: News in Depth, which won the 2026 Apple Design Award for Social Impact, and Blue Frog Immersive. The company also developed Acute Pro for private content review workflows.

The platform supports multiple video formats including Blackmagic's URSA Cine Immersive camera footage, standard 16:9 video, 3D movies, mono and stereo 180 and 360 video, and Spatial Video shot on iPhone. Studios can upload and organize content into playlists, preview immersive video in-headset, add titles and thumbnails, and publish updates without submitting new app versions.

Direct access to audience data is a core feature. The platform provides video consumption metrics, marketing analytics including traffic attribution through deep links, and thumbnail conversion data. Notifications can trigger app users about new content uploads.

Monetization options are flexible. Content creators can charge per video, offer bundles, use subscription models, or structure their own licensing deals for curated content. Acute Immersive operates on a licensing fee model for app clients, with bandwidth charged separately and customization available as an additional service.

The company plans to expand reach beyond Apple Vision Pro by adding support for Android XR, including XREAL Aura glasses. This positions immersive video publishing to reach audiences across multiple spatial computing platforms as the market develops.
