Capcom Announces Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies VR for Meta Headsets in 2027
Capcom has revealed a VR remake of Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies featuring hand tracking, motion controls, and voice-activated "Objection!" commands. The game launches in 2027 on Meta Quest platforms.

Capcom has announced Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies VR, bringing the courtroom adventure series to virtual reality on Meta headsets. The game is scheduled for release in 2027 and is available to wishlist now on the Meta Store.
The VR adaptation lets players control cases with hand gestures and voice commands. Players can shout the franchise's iconic "Objection!" phrase to object to testimony, present evidence by pointing with tracked hands, and explore crime scenes from every angle using motion controls. The game is fully playable with traditional controllers as an alternative to immersive hand-tracking features.
Players will step into courtroom scenes to interact with witnesses and examine evidence in order to prove their client's innocence. The gameplay follows the series' core mystery-solving mechanics, requiring logic, observation skills, and deduction to spot contradictions and build cases across multiple episodic stories.
The remake will run on Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, and the new Meta VR Glasses. Wishlisting is active on the Meta Store ahead of the 2027 launch window.
Ace Attorney remains one of Capcom's most recognizable franchises. The series debuted in 2001 on Game Boy Advance and has traditionally been associated with Nintendo platforms. The last mainline entry was 2016's Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice, though the franchise has received re-releases and compilations since then. This VR project marks a significant departure from the series' handheld roots.
