Xbox Kickstarts Gamescom 2026 with a 2.5-Hour Broadcast Show
Microsoft has launched its daily Xbox @ Gamescom Broadcast with a substantial 2.5-hour show featuring gameplay footage, developer interviews, and updates on major titles.
Microsoft has officially kicked off Gamescom with a massive 2.5-hour broadcast event, bringing a wealth of video games, gameplay footage, and developer presentations to fans who could not attend the convention in person. Rather than participating in external programs like Geoff Keighley's showcases, Microsoft frequently relies on hosting its own dedicated convention programming, with Gamescom serving as no exception.
The first day of the daily Xbox @ Gamescom Broadcast delivered approximately two and a half hours of content packed with material from several anticipated titles. Viewers were treated to video and gameplay footage from prominent projects including Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Persona 4 Revival, and Mega Man: Dual Override. Additionally, the broadcast highlighted fresh content from Microsoft's own heavyweight franchises, featuring updates for Gears of War: E-Day and Forza Horizon 6.
Beyond trailers and game footage, the substantial lineup included dedicated walkthroughs of the expo hall and the main Xbox booth, alongside direct presentations and interviews meeting several developers behind the featured games.
