Players looking to maintain their daily puzzle streak can utilize available hints and solutions for NYT Connections. Launched in June 2023 by the New York Times, the free-to-play browser and mobile game challenges participants to sort a grid of sixteen words into four distinct groups of four based on shared commonalities.

Each daily puzzle features four categories categorized by color-coded difficulty levels: yellow, green, blue, and purple, ranging from least to most difficult. Players are granted four total guesses to successfully solve the board before the game ends. The puzzle resets daily at midnight local time, giving users a 24-hour window to complete each new challenge.

For those tracking past configurations, previous answers highlight the structure of the word groups. In recent entries, yellow category terms included words describing things that are hard to understand such as bewildering, esoteric, incomprehensible, and opaque. Green category clues featured terms incorporating words for 'small' as prefixes, such as microbrewery, minivan, nanotechnology, and picosecond. Blue categories explored popular or classic horror movies like Arachnophobia, Halloween, It, and Saw, while purple categories highlighted words preceding 'force' such as brute, electromagnetic, G, and task.

Whether playing on desktop or via the mobile application, keeping track of double meanings and color-coded difficulty tiers remains essential to preserving a daily streak.
