Monopoly Go launches Monster Mash season with KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters

Monopoly Go is launching its Monster Mash season on September 23, running through November 25, with crossovers featuring Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters and the Ghostbusters franchise.

The KPop Demon Hunters content includes a themed shopping boutique, a street race through Seoul that leads into the Underworld, and a concert experience featuring Huntr/x, the season's headlining group. Players will hear the songs Golden and How It's Done during gameplay. The Ghostbusters side adds a rooftop race around 550 Central Park West and a Firehouse-set challenge centered on the Proton Blaster.

Two new head-to-head competitive modes debut this season. Fill Up Your Luck-O-Lantern lets players share collected candy with friends, while Trick-or-Treat is Knocking is a dice duel where the higher roll wins rewards. A new Mystery Mansion Sticker Album introduces 25 sets tied to the season, with two dedicated entirely to KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters respectively.

The collaboration follows recent high-profile crossovers in Monopoly Go, including Star Wars in 2025 and The Simpsons earlier this year. The game has surpassed 300 million downloads since its April 2023 launch and became the fastest game to reach $6 billion in in-app purchases, achieving that milestone about three and a half years after launch, according to Scopely's announcement and Sensor Tower data from January.
