Mario Kart Tour Announces Final Anniversary Tour Ahead Of Shutdown

Nintendo has announced a final Anniversary Tour for its free-to-play mobile title Mario Kart Tour. This update marks the final celebration for the racing game as it approaches its scheduled shutdown on 30th September 2026. The Sundae Tour is wrapping up, and Nintendo stated that the upcoming Anniversary Tour will express gratitude to players for their support since launch.

Alongside the final tour, Nintendo released a final report featuring player statistics collected over the lifetime of the game. The initial statistics reveal the total number of drivers and list the top 20 drivers used in races. Bowser secured first place, followed by Peach in second and Toad in third.

Nintendo previously confirmed that Mario Kart Tour will end its service this month. The company also clarified in an official FAQ that there are no current plans to release an offline version of the title following its closure.
