Report: Limited Edition Transparent Green Xbox Series X25 Set for €900 Black Friday Launch in Europe
According to a new report, the transparent green Xbox Series X25 limited edition console will arrive in Europe for Black Friday at a retail price of €899.99.
A new report from French publication and serial leakers Dealabs indicates that the transparent green Xbox Series X "X25" limited edition console—initially announced back in June—is scheduled to launch in Europe in time for Black Friday. The publication reports that the console will retail for €899.99, which is expected to translate to approximately $900 to $1000 in the United States and £800 to £900 in the United Kingdom.
By comparison, the standard Xbox Series X currently retails for around €800 in Europe, meaning the X25 model carries a €100 premium over current baseline pricing. For additional context, standard Series X models cost roughly £670 via the Microsoft Store UK and about $898 through Amazon US. Despite the higher cost, the X25 features the same technical specifications as the standard model, including a built-in disc drive and 1TB of storage. It also ships with a matching transparent green plastic controller.
According to the Dealabs report, the X25 is scheduled to release on November 27th, though it remains unclear whether Microsoft will host a pre-order period ahead of that date. Black Friday week officially kicks off on Monday, November 23rd, although many modern retailers begin promotional sales at the start of the month. Furthermore, additional announcements concerning the console may surface during upcoming industry events, as Microsoft is reportedly planning a presence at Gamescom.
