House Flipper 2’s Long-Awaited Pets DLC Releases This December

The Pets DLC for House Flipper 2 is officially launching on December 3, 2026, bringing over 40 dog and cat breeds, a new region, and numerous animal species to the game.

The long-awaited Pets DLC for House Flipper 2 finally has a set release date, bringing a wide array of animals to the simulation title. Players will be able to experience the joy of adopting pets when the downloadable content officially releases on December 3, 2026. Announced almost a year ago, the expansion introduces free-roaming animals like dogs, cats, and rabbits, alongside caged or terrarium-bound species such as hamsters, bearded dragons, frogs, and parrots, plus various fish species.

According to the details, the expansion features over 40 different dog and cat breeds and more than 30 smaller pet species. Each pet can be named, given a home, and equipped with unique personality traits that enable them to interact dynamically with their environments. Alongside the animals, the DLC includes a brand-new region called Pinnacove, 10 new jobs, 10 new houses, and hundreds of new items.

The new items include essential pet care equipment such as crates, food dishes, litter boxes, cat trees, and toys, spanning cozy, rustic, and Mediterranean design themes to offer varied interior decoration options. Developer insights shared earlier this month detailed how the team built and animated the 3D models for the various dog and cat breeds. The House Flipper 2 Pets DLC is scheduled to launch across Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
