GamesIndustry.biz has confirmed the first sessions for this year's HR Summit, sponsored by Amiqus and held next month at the Royal Institution in London. The event focuses on people and workplace issues facing games studios.
Morning sessions include four dedicated discussions guided by industry experts and facilitators. "Preparing Your People Strategy for AI" will explore how studios can identify required skills, balance recruiting new talent with reskilling existing staff, and maintain employee trust as AI changes both how people work and the work organisations need done. A second session on "AI in Employment Relations" will address practical workplace issues arising from AI deployment and associated risks.
"Managing neurodiversity in the workplace" will discuss supporting performance and helping managers lead neurodiverse teams. A fourth morning session, "Beyond Resilience: Supervision for HR Leaders," recognises that people professionals often handle workplace issues without direct support themselves, and will explore methods for creating reflection space and sustainable leadership.
Opening speaker sessions will be led by Sasi Venables of the HR Confidence Club and veteran industry people expert Niki Head. Afternoon sessions will feature first-hand insights from studio leaders and people leaders at key UK studios, with details to be announced next week.
Tickets include lunch and access to the Best Places To Work Awards UK.
