EA SPORTS has been named the Official Game Partner for College Rivals Season 4, bringing competitive football gaming directly to India’s collegiate community. The partnership introduces EA SPORTS FC Mobile to campuses across the country, combining competitive gaming with youth culture, music, and entertainment.

India boasts an estimated 300 million football fans, positioning the nation as one of the largest football audiences globally. Through this collaboration, EA SPORTS and College Rivals aim to expand the accessibility of football gaming for young players, creating structured avenues for students to compete, connect, and participate digitally. EA SPORTS FC Mobile is set to anchor the Season 4 experience through a variety of campus activations, creator collaborations, esports competitions, and community-focused initiatives backed by a network of student ambassadors.

Targeting over 100 colleges across more than 40 cities, the upcoming fourth season is projected to be the largest iteration of College Rivals to date. The expanded calendar includes online competitions, community experiences, and physical events such as GamingCon Bharat, alongside nationwide campus engagements tailored for Gen Z audiences. Ashutosh Sharma, Head of Publishing for India and SEA at EA SPORTS, emphasized the collaboration's potential to engage India's young gaming audience and build robust connections with the next generation of players. Meanwhile, Charlie Baillie, CEO of Ampverse Group, noted that the alliance aims to strengthen bonds between students, gaming, and youth culture beyond standard competitive play.

Launched originally in August 2023 as a co-developed intellectual property between Ampverse and DMI, College Rivals has grown into a major collegiate gaming and youth engagement initiative. The platform reports a community exceeding 300,000 gamers and over 100 million in reach per season. Organizers also indicated plans to explore campaigns around key gaming and entertainment moments throughout the season, including potential activities surrounding the expected arrival of EA SPORTS FC 27.
