Crytek Lays Off Staff Across Istanbul and Frankfurt Offices
Crytek has cut jobs at its Istanbul and Frankfurt locations, affecting at least 30 employees across quality assurance, publishing, and social media teams, according to reporting from Insider Gaming.

Crytek has laid off staff at both its Istanbul, Türkiye facility and its headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, according to Insider Gaming. An entire quality assurance team based in Istanbul was included in the cuts, along with employees in Frankfurt from the publishing, social media, and QA departments.
Though the exact number of affected employees remains unconfirmed, sources indicate that at least 30 people lost their jobs. Staff were notified of the layoffs at the beginning of September and described the cuts as "unexpected."
Crytek has not yet publicly announced the layoffs. Insider Gaming reached out to the company for comment, seeking clarity on the decision and confirmation of the number of employees affected, but had not received a response as of publication.
