Bohemia Interactive has acquired a minority stake in Enjoy Studio, the independent developer behind the voxel multiplayer survival RPG Everwind. The investment was confirmed on September 17 for an undisclosed sum.

Everwind is described as a voxel-y multiplayer survival RPG currently in development. Bohemia Interactive serves as the game's publisher and apparently sees enough potential in the studio to deepen its financial involvement.

“Everwind has shown what this team is capable of, but this investment is not about […]” a representative said, with the full statement truncated in the original report.

Bohemia Interactive is best known for the Arma series and DayZ, giving the company a long track record in the survival genre. The minority stake suggests a strategic partnership rather than a full acquisition, allowing Enjoy Studio to retain creative control while gaining additional resources.

The deal highlights a growing trend of established publishers taking equity positions in smaller studios they already work with. For players, the investment could mean more stable development for Everwind, though no release date or platform details have been announced.
