BGMI Lite Pre-Registration Opens for Android Users in India

KRAFTON India has opened pre-registration for BGMI Lite on Google Play Store for Android users in India as of August 25, 2026. The game is not yet playable. Pre-registration reserves player interest and enables automatic installation notification when the game launches.

To pre-register on Android, players should open the official BGMI Lite Google Play Store page, sign in with a Google account, verify the developer is KRAFTON, Inc., and tap the Pre-register button. The process takes under a minute. Google Play will send an alert when BGMI Lite becomes available to download.

KRAFTON India confirmed BGMI Lite will launch by the end of 2026, though no exact release date has been announced. The Play Store listing targets a launch later this year. Some reports reference a November window, though that timing aligns with the global PUBG Mobile Light project rather than the India version.

The initial download will be around 1GB, significantly smaller than full BGMI. Official promotional material lists minimum requirements of 1.5GB RAM and an Adreno 306 GPU or higher. The minimum Android version, supported processors, and required free storage have not been disclosed.

Existing BGMI players can use their current account to log into BGMI Lite. Owned items will carry over, and players can team up with friends on the main BGMI app. According to the Play Store listing, players can start a match once the download finishes without requiring extra packages before their first game.

The official description confirms optional modules that players can download and remove individually, the classic Erangel map with 100 players per match, and synchronized updates with BGMI. The game is rated 12+ and includes ads and in-app purchases.

BGMI Lite pre-registration is not available on iOS. KRAFTON India said details on iOS availability and pre-registration will be announced at a later date. Pre-registration rewards have not been officially published. Players should only download from Google Play Store; unofficial APK files from third-party sources are not from KRAFTON and may pose security risks.
