Apple has introduced its new folding phone, the iPhone Duo, which surfaced on social media following initial hands-on experiences. The device features an impressive screen and advanced hardware capabilities that could change how mobile games are experienced, though it comes with an extremely high cost.

A video shared on social media demonstrated Zenless Zone Zero being played in three seamless perspectives as the user manipulated the folding screen. The demonstration moved from a standard horizontal view into a larger, wider perspective when the Duo was opened, before concluding in a vertical layout.

The device is entering the market as potentially the highest-priced cellphone ever made. In the United Kingdom, the starting price is £1,999 for the 256 GB model. For the maximum-capacity 2 TB model, users will need to pay £3,199, with Apple implementing pricing parity that brings the top-tier model to $3,199 in the United States.

When fully folded out, the iPhone Duo includes a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display. The battery supports up to 44 hours of playback, and the internal hardware features an A20 Pro chip alongside a six-core CPU and a seven-core GPU. The phone also packs a 16-core neural engine and hardware-accelerated ray tracing designed to support visual experiences for mobile players.
